In the name of God Amen. I Ezekiel Woolley (farmer and jeweller) a citizen of the State and County aforementioned being sick and in a low State of health but of sound mind and memory thanks be to God for the same--Being sens that it is appointed once for men to die, I have thought proper to make my will which is in matter and form in words following-- 1st.--I Will my Soul to Goid that gave it-- 2nd.--I will my body to my beloved wife & my children collectively for them to dispose of agreeable to their discretion. 3rd.--As respects all my worldly concerns I hereby nominate constitute and ordain my Wife Margaret Woolley and my son Andrew F. Woolley my Executors to this my last will and testament that they jointly take in possession (immediately after my death) all my property both personil & real that they collect, all debts both Notes & Book accoupts due me and pay all my just debts-- 4th.--Then I will that my Wife Margaret take in possession all the balance of my estate both personal and real, and make of all or any part of it, at any time according to her own Will during her natural life, and she is by these presents fully authorized to lease release, deed, will all or any part of the above specified estate both personal and real among the children or other wise-- 5th.--I do hereby declare this to be my last will & testament declaring all other Wills by me made at any time previous to be entirely null & void and of no effect whatever-- In testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed my Seal this twenty fifth day of September Ezekiel Woolley Seal Signed & Sealed in presence in presence of: -- You and each of you do swear that you saw Ezekiel Woolley Sign Seal publish and declare this writing to be and contain his last Will and testament that at the time thereof he was of sound disposing mind and and memory, and that he did it freely without compulsion to the best of your knowledge--So help you God-- Sworn to and subscribed in open Court this 1st. day of November 1830 I do Solemnly Swear that this writing contains the true last Will of
the within named Ezekiel Woolley deceased so far as I know or believe
and that I will well and truly execute the same by paying the debts and
then the legacies contained in said Will as far as his goods and
chattels will thereunto extend and the law charge me and that I will
make a true and perfect inventory of all such good & chattels So help
me God. Sworn to & subscribed in open Court this 1st. day of November 1830 |
