[Spelling and punctuation transcribed as in the original handwritten will] Bartow County I, Margaret McEver of the county and state above mentioned being of sound mind and mindful of the uncertainty of human life do hereby declare this to be my last will and testament. I hereby revoke any former will that I may have made. After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give, devise, and bequeath to my sister Isabella McEver all my right, title and claim to all my property both real and personal to be used for the benefit and support during her natural life. After the death of my sister Isabella McEver, I give devise and bequeath to my nephew in law Nathan Lipscomb and his wife Laura Lipscomb (who is my niece) and their children all that part of the aforesaid property which may be in possession of my sister Isabella McEver at the time of her death. I hereby nominate and appoint Dr. Robert I. Battle the executor of this my last will and testament and hereby authorize and empower him to compound, compromise and settle any claim or demands which may be against or in favor of my said estate. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 16th of January 1891. Margaret McEver Signed, published, and declared by the said Testatrix to be her last will and testament in the presents of us who have signed our names at her request as witnesses in her presence and in the presence of each other.
