I am constrained to extend congratulations to my venerable friend, Mr. Jack J. Yarbrough, of the Seventeenth, on the event of his marriage to Miss Saphronia Gaines. Mr. Yarbrough has attained the honorable age of eighty and has sons and daughters and grandchildren to bless and crown his days, but with all this his heart is tender and has proven to be vulnerable to one of Cupid’s white-winged arrows. His wife is forty.
