Sixty-five and Eighteen.

This was respectively their ages but did not hinder them getting married.

The community was surprised no little on last Saturday when the report gained currency that Capt. J. D. Thomas and Miss Uliah Attaway were married, as it was not known that an acquaintanceship existed between the two. However, the report turned out to be true. The marriage being an elopement, too, gave it a sensational flavor. [Article continues.]
