Married in Texas.

The Texas Baptist and Herald brings us the news of the marriage of Miss Fannie Luther, late of this county. That paper says:

Mr. C. L. Stephenson of Calhoun, Ga., and Miss Fannie Luther formerly of Cassville, Ga., but for the last few years with the American Baptist Publication Society, Dallas, were married Sunday night, May 23d, in the First Baptist church by Pastor C. L. Seasholes. The high contracting parties have been acquainted with each other many years and Mr. Stephenson, unable to woe back to Georgia his boyhood sweetheart at last by the power of that gravitation which is ever unrelenting, came on to Dallas and claimed his own for his own. We extend to them our hearty congratulations. Miss Fannie is a gem of a woman; possessed of an exalted character, noble intellect and womanly beauty. Mr. Stephenson is said to be a gentleman of excellent character, and worthy of the sterling woman he has won. We wish them joy and prosperity and hope they will always find life as full of sunshine as they do today. We enjoy to count in Miss Fannie a valued friend and hope in the good man who has become her husband to find another as valued and true.
