Marriage at the Home of the Bride in Rome Yesterday.

At the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. S. E. Willingham, in Rome, Mr. J. W. Stanford, of this city, and Miss Beulah Willingham of Rome, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony yesterday afternoon, at half-past three o’clock, Dr. R. B. Headden performing the ceremony.
The wedding was a quiet home affair with only a few friends and relatives present in consequence of the recent death of the groom’s father, Judge T. N. Stanford.
The bride is an attractive and popular young lady of the Hill City, where she has resided since early childhood, and is a granddaughter of Col. W. J. Cantrell, of Calhoun, Ga.
Mr. Stanford needs no introduction to the people of this city where he is well known and popular with a large circle of friends.  He has been in the bakery and grocery business here for a number of years and is a successful merchant.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanford arrived from Rome yesterday evening at six o’clock, and will be at home to their friends on Gilmore street.
