Sunday evening at the residence of the brides mother, near Rogers, Miss Lizzie Lumpkin was married to Mr. J. E. Scott of Adairsville. The bride is a young lady of very superior qualities, and by her splendid disposition and intelligence she has won many admirers and friends. The groom is the popular telegraph operator at Adairsville, and ranks high in his profession. We congratulate the happy couple and extend to them the sincerest good wishes of the American.
