Matrimonial Surprise.

Mr. Roy Satterfield and Miss Ella Mae Gilreath Get Married.

The community was somewhat startled on yesterday evening when the news gained currency that Mr. Roy Satterfield and Miss Ella Mae Gilreath were married.

The young couple have been for a long time going together and seemed to exhibit a mutual fondness but the suddenness with which their admirations ripened into matrimony was somewhat of a shock.

It seems the young people on yesterday made it up to have the knot tied without letting the parents on either side know a thing about it. They enlisted the aid of a friend, who secured a license and the three drove out to the home of Dr. Wm. H. Felton, three miles, and the reverend gentlemen obligingly joined them in approved style.

The bride is a pretty accomplished and vivacious young lady with winning manner and possesses many friends. She is the daughter of Mr. M. H. Gilreath. The groom is the son of the late R. W. Satterfield and is well known and has numerous friends.
