HYMENEAL. [Stilesboro Dots]

Thursday evening, April 30th, witnessed the union of Mr. Joseph K. Rowan and Miss Sallie W. Cunyus, when both became one; but which is now the one, is the question.  The Bride had playfully suggested that the word “obey” be left out of the ceremonial vows, which was accordingly done, by happening to substitute “obedience” in its stead.

The gay cortege of smiling attendants, consisted of Dr. H. D. Cunyus and Miss Alice Gilreath; Mr. C. H. Cunyus and Miss Fannie Cannon; Mr. W. H. Cannon and Miss Dora K. Haney; Mr. R. B. Haney and Miss Ida Burge; Mr. J. L. Colbert and Miss Ella Cunyus; Mr. T. F. Colbert and Miss Callie Hill.

In this well arranged cadet skirmish, Cupid was constantly firing, cross-firing, enfilading, and both armies constantly advancing, until both surrendered without a loss on either side.
