Invitations are out to the marriage of Mr. Eugene S. Roberts, of Cartersville, and Miss Lollie Newsome, of this county. The marriage will take place in Independence church at noon on Dec. 23d. Mr. Roberts is a most excellent young man and we are glad to know he will become a citizen of Wilkes county, having bought the Heard place six miles north of town. Miss Lollie Newsome is one of the most charming young ladies ever reared to womanhood in Wilkes county. –Washington, (Ga.,) Chronicle

"Mr. Eugene S. Roberts and Miss Lollie Newsome Married in Wilkes.

A marriage is always an occasion of great interest and pleasure. It will ever be so. It is then the heart is filled with bright hopes and anticipations of the most joyous nature or character. This was certainly true on last Thursday, Dec. 23, at Independence church, when Mr. Eugene S. Roberts, of Cartersville, Ga., and Miss Lollie Newsome, were joined in the holy bonds of wedlock, Rev. R. B. O. England and Rev. J. L. Gross, officiating.

Mr. Eugene S. Roberts and Miss Lollie Newsome Married in Wilkes.

A marriage is always an occasion of great interest and pleasure. It will ever be so. It is then the heart is filled with bright hopes and anticipations of the most joyous nature or character. This was certainly true on last Thursday, Dec. 23, at Independence church, when Mr. Eugene S. Roberts, of Cartersville, Ga., and Miss Lollie Newsome, were joined in the holy bonds of wedlock, Rev. R.
