The handsome parlor of Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Griffin presented a beautiful scene on the 7th inst. It was the marriage of their sister, Miss Samantha Crow to Mr. R. B. Pettit, of Cassville, Rev. T. A. Owens officiating. It was a solemn scene to see these two plight their troth—and was a beautiful, holy marriage. Mrs. Pettit, nee Crow, was a sweet noble lady and won the hearts of those whom she met. May their path be strewn with roses of happiness.
