Marriage of Miss Ida Lee.

At Gordon, Ga., Wednesday afternoon, of last week, at the residence of her brother, Dr. W. W. Lee, Miss Ida Lee was married to Mr. J. G. Pearson, the ceremony being performed by Rev. A. J. Beck, of Eatonton. Miss Lee was formerly a teacher in the East Cartersville Institute and was retained as one of the teachers in the public schools of this city when they began. This position she resigned at the close of the last term. As a teacher she was much loved by her pupils and discharged her duties to the satisfaction of patrons, faculty and board of education, and therefore her resignation was accepted with much regret. Personally Miss Lee was quite popular here and the news that she will no longer be identified with our town and people will be heard with sincere regret. Mr. Pearson is a prosperous planter and merchant of Gordon, and he is to be congratulated upon winning such a prize. We join the many friends of the couple in wishing them a happy future.
