At the residence of the bride’s father, at Etowah, Floyd county, last evening by the Rev. Urban Pattillo, Mr. R. Sidney Pattillo, was united in holy wedlock to Miss Alice Culver, of Etowah. The groom is well known in this community where he was reared, and he bears a good reputation as to sobriety and attention to business. He has for two or three years been engaged in keeping books for D. W. Rogers & Co., the extensive lumber manufactures at Etowah, and has given the utmost satisfaction to his employers in the discharge of his duties. The bride is a very popular young lady of her section and every way fit to enter upon the duties of married life. We bespeak for the happy couple a pleasant life one of happiness and fruitful of good results, as they have the heartiest good wishes of all who are acquainted with them.
