Married.

At the commercial Hotel, in Cartersville, on the night of the 20th inst., by Rev. S. H. Smith, Mr. James L. Palmer to Miss Susie Logan, all of Rome, Georgia.

This was quite an interesting little affair.  The ceremony was performed in the presence of a merry group of admitting young and old folks, after which a handsome repast of life’s rich delicacies was served up and furnished to the party by the kind hosts of the “Commercial,” during which time congratulations and social convivialites were passed around freely.  The time having arrived for the happy couple to take their departure, they were accompanied to the train by the merry throng and after parting salutations and good wishes for their future happiness and safe return to the home and bosoms of their friends, they embarked aboard the train for Savannah.
