A Quiet Marriage.

On Tuesday last Mr. J. L. McGarity, who travels for R. M. Sutton & Co., of Baltimore, stopped off in Cartersville, but it was upon a different mission from that usually pursued by the knights of the grip. In the evening he procured the necessary documents and quietly repaired to the home of Dr. E. B. Harris where he was united in marriage to Miss Johnnie Bailey, the accomplished sister of Mrs. Harris, Rev. W. H. Patterson performing the ceremony in his usual happy style.

Mr. McGarrity continued his journey on Wednesday and will return in about ten days when his bride will accompany him to his home in Atlanta. The Courant American extends congratulations.
