Mr. Edward McElwee and Miss Minnie Lewis were married at the church Sunday at the close of the 11 o’clock service. Mr. Thos. Alexander, of Cherokee county, and Miss Lizzie Price, were the attendants. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. J. McCoy.
