“Over the County--Adairsville.”

Married at the home of the bride’s father, Mr. Marian Hayes, Mr. M. A. Lucas to Miss Phenie Hayes, on Wednesday, the 6 th instant. The wedding was quite a surprise and we know there must have been some heavy hearts when the news reached the town, for Miss Hayes has been quite popular and was very much beloved, so of course, all hated to see her go far away; but she was followed by as many wishes for future happiness as ever followed so lovely and amiable a young lady. They left Thursday afternoon for their future home, Illinois, Indian Territory.
