Stegall. We were greatly surprised to learn that Capt. P. H. Larey had slipped over and quietly married Mrs. Kittie Deweese last Sunday, Col. R. H. Jones officiating. Nobody could say “I knew it” or “I told you so.” ******************* Page 3. Married. Mrs. Kittie Deweese, relict of the late Wm. Deweese, was married last Sunday morning to Mr. P. H. Larey, of Rockmart, Col. R. H. Jones, officiating. The groom is well known here having once practiced law in this community, and was the leader of Bartow’s first volunteer company to the war. He has been practicing law at Rockmart of late years and quite recently has connected himself with the Rockmart Slate. The bride is well known and greatly liked in a large circle of friends. She is the only daughter of Capt. Edward Puckett, one of our oldest citizens.
