Married. It was a happy union. The contracting parties were Miss Ida M. Carter, of Cassville, to Mr. J. B. Johnson, of Calhoun. The wedding took place at the residence of the brides brother-in-law, Mr. J. N. Vernon, on last Thursday. Rev. Jas. S. Hilhouse, of Ringgold, officiating. The bride is a young lady of many noble qualities, with both personal and mental attractions. Though she has been a resident in our midst but a short time, she has won many friends and admirers. The groom is a young man of high character and most successful in business. The happy couple left immediately after the marriage for Calhoun, their future home. |
