The sound of merriment and music floated out upon the sweet stillness of Thursday evening last from the residence of Mr. B. L. Bouliman in celebration of his daughter, Miss Mamie’s marriage to Mr. J. E. Hayes. The many friends and relatives witnessing the happy occasion will keep it green in their memory as a day of pleasure, for “all went merry as a marriage bell.” May happiness attend the young pair and their lives be adorned with usefulness, encouraging the doubting youth to no longer deprive himself of the domestic joys the Creator provided for him by the institution of matrimony.
