“Doings in Bartow—Kingston.”

Rev. J. J. Ansley, pastor of the Methodist church at this place, assisted by Rev. J. L. Morrill, of Cartersville, has been conducting a revival meeting here for several weeks past…It was whispered around that there would be a marriage just before the regular services began…For we had hardly time to think, when Miss Ada Beck sure enough began to play a beautiful march and Miss Sallie Hargis came in on the right and Mr. Ben Griffin on the left, then Mr. J. F. Hargis, with his beautiful daughter, Miss Annie on the right aisle and Mr. R. R. Whitehead with Mr. Harry Griffin on the left and as they all met in front of the sacred altar, Miss Annie Hargis and Mr. Harry Griffin were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. Ed Dyer, pastor of the Baptist church, officiating. After the ceremony all marched out to the sweet strains of the wedding march, Miss Ada Beck at the organ, and the wedding party went back to the home of the bride.
