A happy marriage was consummated at the residence of Mr. J. F. Hargis at 10 o’clock a. m., January 1st, the contracting parties being Mr. Thos. H. Greer and Miss Mattie McKelvey, both of Cass, Ga.  Rev. C. A. Jamison officiated.  After the marriage congratulations of friends were extended to the happy pair, and they were invited to Capt. Browns, at Cassville, for dinner.  Mr. Greer has a nice little home prepared and furnished for the bride.
