Hendricks – Franklin.
Quiet Marriage of Two Popular People at Home of Bride Yesterday.

Mr. Paul Franklin and Miss Gabe Hendricks were quietly married last night at eight o’clock at the home of the bride’s parents Judge and Mrs. George Hendricks.

The wedding was witnessed only by the immediate members of the family and a few friends.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. Henry B. Mays, pastor of the Sam Jones Memorial church. The bride and groom went immediately to their new home on Church street where they began housekeeping.

The bride is the fourth daughter of Judge Hendricks and is a bright and cultured young woman and numbers her friends by the score.

The groom is a young man of splendid worth and holds a responsible position with the Bank of Cartersville, having been connected with that institution for two years.

The many friends of both bride and groom wish them much success and a happy married life.

A telegram was received from the bride’s cousin, Miss Alice Carson, of Palestine, Texas, just as Rev. Mays was beginning to perform the ceremony, congratulating them and wishing them much happiness.
