Marriage of Mr. Floyd and Miss Fuller in Gordon Last Week.

At the home of the bride’s parent’s, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Fuller, at “Riverside,” in Gordon county, last week, occurred the marriage of Mr. G. M. Floyd to Miss Minnie D. Fuller.  It was a quiet home marriage, only a few of the nearest relatives of the contracting parties being present, to-wit: Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Fuller and family, Mr. and Mrs. Sinclair Mims, Mrs. N. E. Talley, Mrs. O. H. McWhorter, Messrs. W. H. Bonner, W. A. Jones, Robert Maxwell, A. E. Upshaw, Rev. J. E. Hudson performed the ceremony and the wedding march was played by Miss Dora E. Fuller.

The attending couples entered as follows, preceded by Misses Beulah and Lena Fuller, who managed the curtains: Mr. W. H. Bonner and Miss Minnie Hood, Mr. A. E. Upshaw and Miss Mamie Fuller.  Then came the bride and groom.

There were quite a number of handsome presents.

The bride is a most estimable young woman popular with all who know her, while the groom is a substantial citizen of Malvern, Ark.  He held the position of postmaster at his town under Cleveland’s last administration.  He has relatives in Bartow county.

Early after the ceremony the happy couple took the train for Hot Springs, Ark., where they will make a short stay as guests of a sister of the groom before proceeding to Malvern, Ark., their permanent home.
