Married.

Erwin—Mills—At the residence of the bride’s mother, Spring City, August 31, at 8 o’clock p. m., Rev. J. W. Bachman officiating, Harry J. Erwin to Miss Mollie Mills.

A select party of relatives witnessed the ceremony; otherwise it was entirely private, no cards having been issued. The ceremony was very impressive, and the occasion afforded a most excellent social entertainment. The happy pair soon afterward left the residence of the bride’s mother, at Spring City, for the splendid country home of the bridegroom, near Pin Hook, where we trust they may realize the happiness they deserve.

The groom, Mr. Erwin, is one of Rhea County’s most promising young men. He possesses many admirable qualities, and a bright future is in store for him.

The bride, Miss Mills, is a daughter of the late Col. Mills. She is well known in Chattanooga society, having frequently visited this city, where she has relatives among our best citizens. She is a highly intelligent and amiable young lady, and will adorn the domestic circle with queenly dignity and a thoroughly practical knowledge of the duties of life, presaging a happy home and a prosperous future. – Chattanooga Times.
