To Have Been Married Yesterday. From invitations sent to this city we learn that Mr. Augustus Y. Chapman, formerly of this place, was to have been married yesterday in Lake City, Florida, to Miss Mary E. Hart, of that place. The bride is spoken of as one of the shining lights of Florida society, much beloved and esteemed by all who know her. The groom, Gus is known throughout this whole section, and many are the congratulations he will receive from his friends here. We all wish you well, Gus, and may you and your lovely bride enjoy all the blessings of this world and when life’s fitful sleep is o’er we hope that you may safely cross over the river so much spoken by the Great Book. ********************* August 10, 1882, Page 3 For Better Or Worse.
