The most beautiful wedding ever witnessed in Cartersville, and the most notable social event for some time past, occurred yesterday afternoon at half past four o’clock in the First Presbyterian church, when Miss Frank Gilreath, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Holton Gilreath, and Mr. Albert Gordon Cassells, of Savannah, were united in marriage. [A very long article, followed by another article about a reception at the bride’s home, detailing wedding presents.]
