Former Citizen of Bartow to Wed Well Known Lady of Fitzgerald.

An Atlanta dispatch says: The engagement of Colonel Henry D. Capers, of Atlanta, to Mrs. Jennie Buckner Gwyn, of Fitzgerald, has been announced here.

Colonel Capers carries his years well, and he will tell you confidentially that he has passed 74 summers.  He is a confederate, but no one would take him to be more than 50.

Mrs. Gwyn is a woman of splendid family, coming from good old Virginia and Kentucky stock.  The announcement of her coming wedding to take place on St. Valentine’s day, is the outcome of a romance which began several years ago at Asheville, N. C.

Col. Capers is well known in this city and county, having for a number of years made his home in Adairsville.
