At the home of the bride’s parents on Wednesday morning Miss Mamie Joe Ward was married to Mr. Charles Butler, of Atlanta.  It was a pretty early morning marriage the couple standing before the mantel banked in ferns.  Rev. A. J. Morgan officiated.  Miss Bessie Anderson sang “Love Me and the World is Mine” just before the ceremony.  The bride wore a handsome going-away suit of brown.  A few friends and relatives were present.  The bride has been a very popular girl and her friends unite in wishing them a bright future.
