“East Side Notes.” A pretty home wedding was that of Miss Josie Bruce and Mr. Roland Browne, which occurred Thursday at six o’clock p. m., Rev. J. E. Barnard officiating. Mr. Will Hudgins played Mendelssohn’s wedding march. Mrs. Frank Routt was matron of honor. The house was beautifully decorated in ferns and palms and the bride carried a lovely bouquet of bride’s roses. The invited guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Routt, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith, Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, Mrs. Shep Smith, Mrs. G. W. Patterson, Morgan Patterson, Misses Mabel Routt, Bessie and Mary Bruce, Lena McKeever, Leo White, Messrs. George Hardin, Sam Wheeler, Lem White, Lawrence Tonp, J. S. McKeever. A nice wedding supper was served of which all partook heartily and kind wishes were showered on the happy couple. After the ceremony, Mrs. Hudgins played “Call me Thine Own.” The entertainment was an ideal one characterized by the wholesome hospitality of the pleasant host and hostess. |
