Mr. E. W. BALLINGER and Miss LOU UPSHAW were united in the holy bonds of wedlock, at the residence of Mrs. L. E. Price, in this county, by Rev. C. A. Evans, on Thursday, the 3d instant.  The following young ladies and gentlemen attended the happy couple: Mr. Samuel Smith and Miss Mattie Randalls, Mr. John Linn and Miss Burnie Upshaw, Mr. George Bell and Miss Kate Gillam, Mr. Woodfin W. Waters and Miss Keziah Linn.

There was a splendid supper prepared, and a large number of guests assembled to witness the ceremony and to join in the festivities of the evening.  There was no dancing.

We wish the youthful couple a safe and prosperous and happy journey over life’s stormy seas.
