Marriage At Emerson.

At Emerson, at the home of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. John P. Stegall at 5 o’clock yesterday, a quiet but interesting marriage occurred. Mr. A. Abramson and Miss Sallie Stegall were the contracting parties. The ceremony was performed by Rev. B. P. Allen, pastor of the Methodist church, of this city.

The bride is one of the most charming and worthy of Bartow’s daughters, while the groom is a thorough-going young business man, engaged in merchandising and in the beauxite industry at Barnsley.

Both parties are very popular and many good wishes of friends follow them in their matrimonial voyage.

[Another notice of the wedding, see April 15, 1897: “The wedding cake had embossed on it “Abram” and “Sarah” which carried the mind back in biblical history for a parallel in marital companionship.”]
