The reunion is for all ancestors of James and Lavina Freeman and associated families. That should narrow the universe to just a few thousand people. Of course, there may be some who cannot attend. The reunion will be a picnic and will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at the Lock & Dam park at the large pavilion. This park is just outside of Rome, Georgia.

JAMES FREEMAN was born Aug 1833 in South Carolina, and died 04 Jun 1873 in Bartow County, GA. He married LAVINA VESTA CATHERINE GRIFFIN 11 Mar 1855 in Bartow County, GA, daughter of RICHARD GRIFFIN and NANCY CAINE. She was born 04 May 1836 in Dekalb County, GA and died 26 Sep 1916 and is buried in Euharlee Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Bartow County, GA.
