“A Column of Locals”

An infant girl, fourteen months old, of Mr. B. R. Padgett died in Atlanta on Thursday last and the remains were shipped to this city and interred in Oak Hill Cemetery on Friday.

Dr. W. C. Griffin has had his cup of sorrow quite full on account of deaths of near relatives recently. He lost a sister, Mrs. James Crawford, a month or so ago, afterwards a brother-in-law, Mr. Haynes, and last week Miss Pet Kinnebrew, his niece, a lovely young woman, died at Nannie, in Floyd County.
