On the water tower hill lives old Cariline Younger, colored, with several daughters and sons. On yesterday morning old Joshua McDaniel, a colored neighbor, made a suspicious discovery….the child came to its death from the criminal neglect of its mother, Rebecca Younger. The girl is under arrest for infanticide.
