Former Adairsville Resident Dies at Home in Alabama

Mrs. Joe C. Wright, the former Miss Nina Swain, daughter of the late Jesse and Eliza McDow Swain, passed away at the home of her daughter at Fairfield, Ala., Dec. 15.

Burial was on Dec. 18.  She was the sister of the late Mrs. J. E. Swain (Carrie Swain).

Mrs. Wright suffered a heart attack in the fall but had recovered sufficiently to prepare for a trip to Atlanta during the holidays.

She prayed that there would be no repeated attacks and was prepared for the end.

She was born at Adairsville, Aug. 5th, 1873.

Mrs. Wright was married to Joe C. Wright at Reeves, where she lived in 1894.

The deceased was the mother of four boys and four girls, 13 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. 

Survivors are her husband, several daughters, and one brother William Swain of New Mexico.
