Harold C. (Rusty) Womack, 58, of Grove Circle, Cartersville, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998.

He was born Feb. 11, 1940, in Bartow County, a son of the late Hubert Womack, a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and a block mason.

Mr. Womack is survived by his children, Cindy Hollifield of Cartersville, Theron and Risa Womack of Cartersville, Marie and Yancey Shuman of Denver, Colorado, one granddaughter and two grandsons, his mother, Louise Evans Womack of Cartersville, his brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Bobbie Womack, sisters and brothers-in-law, Faye and Gene Thacker, Marie and Earl Mathison, Ann and Junior Neal, all of Cartersville, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Harold (Hal) Womack.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28 from the Sunset Memory Gardens with the Rev. Jamey Hunt officiating.

Pallbearers were Wayne Thacker, Jeff Neal, Dan Neal, Brent Mathison, Terry Mathison and Chris Lowry.
