George Wise, of Kingston, passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning.

Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Minnie Bell Wise; five daughters, Mrs. Hazel Woods, Hattie Mae Wise, Linda Fahy Wise, Willie Bell Wise and Roberta Wise; five sons, Harold, Elbert, Alonzo, Frank and Charlie Wise, all of Kingston; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Mae House of Cartersville, and Mrs. Viola Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Dalton Wise of Attalla, Ala. Five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 1 p.m. in Queen’s Chapel Methodist Church. The Rev. W.E. Stevens will officiate with burial in Kingston Cemetery. The body will be at the residence until the funeral hour. Selecter pallbearers will meet at the residence Sunday afternoon at 12:45 o’clock.
