Mrs. Mary Wingo, of Rome, was buried at Euharlee last Monday.  Her husband was killed in a battle during the civil war.  She was a sister of J. O. Ligon and sister-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Baily, of Kingston, Ga.

“Local Matters in Paragraphs.”

Mrs. Mary Wingo, a lady well known in the western part of the county, died at the home of her son-in-law, James Henderson, in Rome, on Sunday morning last.  The burial took place at Euharlee on Monday.  Mrs. Wingo was a sister of Mr. J. O. Ligon.
