Death of Mrs. Williams.

Mrs. Susan R. Williams, mother of Mrs. John P. Stegall, of Emerson, died at the home of the latter, last Thursday morning, of pneumonia.

Mrs. Williams formerly lived in east Tennessee, but sold her farm and has made Texas her home for the last few years.

She was on a visit to her daughter’s and had only been there a few days when she was taken with la grippe, caused by her long journey and exposure to the inclement weather, which rapidly developed into pneumonia, and died as above stated. She was 80 years old.
