Mr. T. W. White.

An Aged and Worthy Citizen Passes Away.

Mr. T. Warren White died in this city, on Tuesday night, at 11 o’clock. He had been in feeble health for a year or more from debility, and a week or so ago his afflictions assumed a serious turn and with a calmness and resignation born of a life well spent, he waited the end, which he knew was fast coming peacefully and without murmur.

Mr. White would have been 73 years old if he had lived until Wednesday. He came to Cartersville in 1871. He had formerly lived in Rome and in Augusta. His wife preceded him in death two years ago. He married her a widow, she being formerly Mrs. Sarah Rhodes, and was a sister of Mr. H. E. Wolf.

Mr. White was a brother of Mr. Charles H. White. He was a member of the Baptist church and always lived uprightly. He possesses numerous friends in the city, to whom his death is a source of sorrow.

The funeral services took place from the Baptist church yesterday evening and the remains were laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery.
