Aged Citizen Dies.

Mr. Charles H. White Passes Away at His Home, Near This City.

Mr. Charles H, White died at the home of his son, Mr. Walter White, near the city, last Friday morning. Mr. White had been helpless since receiving a stroke of paralysis several years ago. Though he suffered a great deal, he bore his sufferings with much patience and resignation. He was a member of the Baptist church and lived an upright Christian life. He was a citizen much respected by all who knew him.

Mr. White was originally from South Carolina and moving to Bartow just after the war followed farming near Ligon. He finally went into merchandizing in this city, from which he retired on account of failing health some five years ago.

He leaves three children, Mr. Walter White, Dr. Claude White and Miss Fannie White.

The funeral services were conducted at the grave by Rev. B. P. Allen and the remains were interred at Oak Hill.
