Our community was very much surprised at the announcement of the sudden death of one of our best and most loved neighbors, Mrs. Kesiah Weems, relict of Mr. A. J. Weems. She had been a terrible sufferer for a long time, all of which she bore unmurmuringly and with Christian fortitude. She was a true Christian, a loving mother and a kind neighbor. This was the eulogy pronounced by all who came in contact with her. Her loss was indeed a sad one to all, yet there is rejoicing to know that she is now in Heaven, where she will ever watch over the loved ones she has here. She leaves three daughters and two sons and many relatives and friends to mourn her death, but they are consoled with the thought that if they are faithful they will meet her by and by in that land where sickness and death are felt and feared no more. Mrs. Weems passed away about ten o’clock on the morning of the 3rd of February, from neuralgia of the brain. |
