Mrs. Mattie Wade, of Old Mill Road, Cartersville, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, at Floyd Medical Center. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced later by the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home, 430 Cassville Road, Cartersville. Wade, 59, of 366 Old Mill Road, Cartersville, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998, at Floyd Medical Center. She was born on Aug. 20, 1939, in Cherokee County, daughter of the late Price Alfred Kilgore and Lillie Bennett Kilgore. Mrs. Wade was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, James Marvin Kilgore. Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Wade, of Cartersville; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Steve Rush, of Powder Springs; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles M. (Chuck) Wade, Jr. and Wendy Sue Wade; two sisters, Tiny Lance, of Gainesville, and Gladys Chambers, of Dallas; four brothers, Alfred Kilgore, of Ball Ground, Billy Kilgore, of Dalton, Charles Kilgore and Edward Kilgore, both of Union Point; three grandchildren, Melissa Diane Rush, Scotty Blake Wade and Kirsten Cierra Wade; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, in the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Leonard Chambers officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Kingston. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday at the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
