Mr. John H. Underwood, one of the oldest citizens of Rome, is dead. He was an honest man and his death is greatly lamented. He was one of the characters in Bill Arp’s sketches and known as “Big John.” ******************** June 8, 1877 Letters of Administration. T. J.
