Estella Thompson

Mrs. Estella Thompson, 1407 Flannery Ave., died Friday in a Rome rest home following an extended illness.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamin Thompson; one sister, Mrs. Marjorie Crawford; three brothers, Wilson Turner, Clarence Turner and Joe O. Turner, all of Rome; five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 o’clock Monday at the Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Hill Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Gore Spring Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of a grandchild, Mrs. Betty Turner Coleman, 1328 Hull St.

Wilder’s Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
