Funeral services for Willie Therman (Buster) Thomas, 13, who was accidently drowned while swimming in the Oostanaula River, will be Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in Gore Spring Methodist Church. The Rev. J.H. Hill will officiate with burial in Gore Spring Cemetery.

The body will be carried to the home of the mother, Mrs. Betty Ann Moore, 31 W. Ross Street today at 6 p.m. to await the funeral hour.

Survivors besides the mother include the stepfather, Cullon Moore Jr.; two brothers, Dennis Moore and Cullen Lamar Moore; four sisters, Miss Regena Moore, Miss Sharon Moore, Miss Phillis Moore and Miss Deloris McConnell, all of Rome; maternal grandparents, Mrs. Lizzie B. McConnell and Jim McConnell; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

The cortege will leave the residence at 3 p.m. for Gore Spring.

Wilder’s Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
