Mrs. W. H. Terrell

Died at Her Home in Fort Worth, Texas.

The news of the death of Mrs. W. H. Terrell at Fort Worth, Tex., last week was a great shock to her relatives and friends in this city, who had not been informed of any serious illness.

Mrs. Terrell was a daughter of Mr. Wm. Satterfield and a sister of Mrs. Fannie Hargis, of this city, and was reared in this city. She was married to Mr. W. H. Terrell, and about three years ago they moved to Texas, locating at Fort Worth. She came out on a visit to her sister and other relatives here and spent several weeks last spring. She was buried at Fort Worth, but her remains will be removed to Cartersville for their final resting place.

The Fort Worth Mail contains the following notice of her death:

“At 8 o’clock last night Mrs. Susie P. Terrell, devoted wife of W. H. Terrell, died at the family residence, 403 Rusk street, in this city. The funeral took place at 4 o’clock today. The burial service was conducted by Rev. J. Morgan Wells of the First Baptist church. Mrs. Terrell was a Miss Satterfield, who came here with her husband from Cartersville, Ga. She had been in ill health for some time and had been absent for weeks in an effort to regain her health. And getting no better she said there was no place like home and she returned here to die. Mrs. Terrell was a lady of rare kindness of heart and lovely character. She will be sincerely mourned by her husband and many friends.”
