John Taylor Dead.

An Old and Well Known Colored Man Passes Away.

John Taylor, colored, who is well known in the community, having been in the barber business here for over twenty years, died Tuesday afternoon. He was about 75 years old, and had been in feeble health for a number of years. He claimed that he was born free, but in slavery he worked among and was well known among many prominent men of the day. He had traveled largely and knew a great deal of the world. He had his faults, but possessed the good will and best wishes of many.
