Mr. M. A. B. Tatum

Stepped From a Train and Fell 75 Feet.
Mr. M. A. B. Tatum, internal revenue collector for the northern district of Georgia, fell from a train at Athens Monday night and was instantly killed. The train had stopped on a trustle over the Oconee river, and Mr. Tatum thinking it was at the depot, stepped off in the dark and fell about seventy-five feet to the bottom. He was well known in Cartersville.
